解決への最短の道 :集約と拡散
若い頃は周囲の人の頭の良さに感嘆していた
問題解決への最短距離をぴたりと見つける、軽々と見つける
年を取るとそのタイプの頭の良さの弱点も見えてくる
問題解決の最短距離というものはだいたいは一つか二つなので
誰が速いかということになる
結局はそんなものだ
昔の天才が答えを書物の欄外に落書きしていたりする
ーー
人と話をしていると
結論が纏まる人と
結論には全く至らず、それどころか話が拡散し
結論にはほど遠いという人とがあって
全く違う才能なのだと思う
今のところコンピュータが請け負っているのは
問題の最短距離解決である
ーー
最近思うに
問題をかえって拡散させる人の中にある種の才能が光っている
経済的には恵まれないし
論理では負けるだろうと思う
組織で偉くもならないだろう
しかしなかなかしみじみといいものなのである
なぜなのかは分からない
わたし自身がもともと最短距離型の人間ではないから波長が合うのかもしれない
話していても
解決には至らない
何も決まらない
儲けもないし
人に褒められもしない
しかし何となくよく分かるのだ
最短解決は一つであるが
最長拡散は様々であり
退屈な拡散になることが多いのだが
そこを話芸か文芸かで惹きつけて
なんだかんだいって最後まで引っ張ってしまう
それって人間的魅力でしょう
かえって問題の深さが分かったね
なんて言いながら
帰路につく

若い頃にもうつ病らしいもの、晩年にもうつ病とアルコール症、交通事故あり離婚あり、
なかなか大変な人生。
若い頃のわたしは本物のNYを知らず、BJがNYと思えた。
今だって本物のNYなんて知るはずもないから、やはりBJがわたしにとってのNYだ。
パークハイアット東京、52階に「ニューヨークグリル」があって、なんとなくNYっぽいが、通り過ぎただけで、
食べたことはない。
品川にはマンハッタングリルがあり、うるさくて、なおさら食べる気はしない。
品川駅はNYをイメージしたあれこれがあるのだが、つばめグリルが入っていたりして、
恐れ入る。
ビリー・ジョエルの楽曲を基に制作され、2002年から3年に渡って上演されたのがトワイラ・サープ制作のミュージカル『ムーヴィン・アウト』である。2003年のトニー賞で、ジョエルとサープはそれぞれ最優秀編曲賞と最優秀振付賞を受賞した。このミュージカルは2006年7月から9月までの期間、東京厚生年金会館で公演された。

私はこれに行っているから、当時はそんな気分だったらしい。

ハードディスクの中身
昔はその人の本箱を見れば
人柄が分かるとか言われたものだが
現代ならば
ハードディスクをみれば
その人の中身が分かりそうだ
インタビューするよりも
ハードディスクの中身を見せてもらった方が早い気がする
そう思って
自分のハードディスクの中身を点検してみて
これが自分というものなのかと
改めて思ってみませんか
多分、それ以外に自分なんてないんですよ
どんなに美化しても理想化しても
あなたが突然交通事故などで
なくなったとして
残された人が
故人を偲んでハードディスク鑑賞会を開いたとしたら
多分あなたは死んでも死にきれないですよね
公式ハードディスクでも用意しておきますか
